Do you struggle with nighttime eating?
💥Do you struggle with nighttime eating?💥
You just sat down for the evening. “Alexa, play Westworld”
Â
You start to realize you’re acting like a host. Everyday you do the same thing. Except one thing you’re doing is stopping your progress.
“Nighttime eating has nighttime progress”
You eat healthy all day long. Meal prep your meals, and drink nothing but water.
But it’s 830pm and you get hungry. You walk to the kitchen for an apple and remember you have your favorite ice cream in the freezer. Eating ice cream isn’t bad. Only if you do it every weeknight. Like you do.
This little snack at night is the reason you’re not losing weight. Those added calories at the end of each day are just enough for you to plateau. That last 10 pounds isn’t going anywhere as long as you’re night time warrior.
But it doesn’t have to be this way. I’ll show you how to overcome this. How to be more conscious. After all, isn’t that what we’re trying to be here? More conscious about our bodies and our lives?
Here are three steps to help you get past your nighttime snacking.
First, write a journal. A nighttime food journal. The challenge is at night, so that’s where the focus should be. Keep a journal of when you’re getting hungry and what you eat when you get hungry. You can put this in your phone so you have easy access to it.
Next, try eating more for dinner. You might need to eat more for dinner so you can feel fuller. For this, load up on the veggies. I’m talking broccoli and cauliflower, things like that. When you feel full, you won’t feel the need to eat anymore.
Finally, drink more water. Sometimes you mistake hydration for hunger. An easy way to fix this is to drink a glass of water before you eat at night. This will help you not eat as much and give you the full feeling.
So there you have it. That last 10 pounds is going to come off. I know you can do it. Just be honest with yourself and understand the challenge you’re having. Use these solutions and I bet you’ll break through that plateau.
