When you beat food addiction
You wake up one day feeling good. It’s been a little bit and you decide to take some progress photos. You’re clothes are feeling good and the girls are going out for happy hour tonight. You figure you'll go ahead and see if your summer romper is going to fit.
⠀
You're a little nervous though because you haven't been on a super strict diet. You indulge when you feel like it and you haven't been keeping a good journal. Those never seemed to help you anyway.
⠀
Your workouts are great! You’re getting stronger and you might have a slight crush on burpees. But you’re not going to say that out loud. 😉
⠀
SO you go into your closet. Before you get started you take a picture just to see the transformation. You put the romper on, it fits. And it's a little loose! You’re amazed at how good you feel right now.
⠀
You open up your photos and put the progress pics side by side. WTF you say to yourself, you look so good! You can't believe that after all these years, you’re finally on the right track. And most of all, you know you can keep this up forever.
⠀
Finally, you're able to go out with your friends again, have fun and a couple drinks.
⠀
Most of all you’re finally able to be yourself. Your confidence is back, and you even post a picture that night of your outfit. As tim gunn would say, make it work!
⠀
This is what beating food addiction looks like.
⠀
Being confident in your body.
Living life exactly how you want to.
Feeling confident to go out with friends.
Knowing you look great.
Not being scared to eat.
And most of all, knowing you’re in control.
⠀
Thank you for following along and I hope this mini-series helped you get some insight and start your battle against food addiction.
⠀
You can do it ✌🏾❤️😁
