The Hunger Scale - How To Stop Overeating

The Hunger Scale - How to stop overeating and recognize your fullness.

Have you ever felt like a Leslie. Just giving up and getting a Paunch Burger?

Then you realize how bad it feels to be that full? It sucks doesn't it.

Lucky for you, lil Sebastian helped me create the hunger scale. So you can stop eating like an asshole.

I mean I get it. It's hard to tell sometimes. One minute you're hangry, the next minute you can't move.

But if you use the hunger scale, and practice it everyday. You don’t have to feel that way ever again!

No more wasting the day because you needed to eat a bucket of ribs.

So, the hunger scale. This is a great tool to use to help you gauge how hungry you are. To help you manage your portions. Especially if you hate counting calories.

It will also help you from going full asshole and eating too much.

The hunger scale will help you determine when to eat, and when to stop.

Starting from the left look at 0. The goal is to not let yourself get to zero. This means empty. You're one step past hangry. Imagine going past hangry.

That's a dark place no one wants to visit.

10 means you fucked up.

You ate so much it feels like you just took 20 shots of Mezcal and you're gonna need to dip your head in the porcelain squat rack.

You want to stay in the 4 to 6 range to feel good.

Like you could eat a meal and get up and take a long walk after it.
4 allows you to feel hungry, but not hungry enough to make bad decisions. This is where you feel good and it's easy to control those urges. You're eating exactly what you need to.

And no more.

You only want to get to 6. 6 is where you feel satisfied. You don't want that full feeling, it causes the start of the itis. You know the itis right. If not you need to google “Dave Chappelle The Itis.” It'll all make sense.

The satisfied feeling means you didn't over eat. That you still have a little room. And you're training yourself to realize you don't really need that much food anyways.

You have a calorie deficit to maintain. Stopping at a 6, helps you do it.

Save this to help you stay on track. It's a good guide to follow when you go out to eat too.

If you use the hunger scale you can really manage your calories. And stay in that deficit.
Now that you know the hunger scale, keep this in mind when you're eating. It will help you feel better after each meal.

And stop you from getting to 0. Or 10.

It’s been real, and remember…

Don't eat like an asshole.
